Right then guys. I'm now looking at an Evo Vii however in the description it is written as RS2 and the FQ300. I have asked the person who owns it and he said its an FQ300. It has a plaque with the number 184 on it. What does the plaque stand for? Also would this be correct that it is deinately and FQ300?

I have also done a HPI and its coming up as auto in the model selection however It is a manual and claims always has been.

What do people think about this? Dodgey? Or just an admin error DVLA end.

Thanks in advance. If all is correct I shall be a proud evo owner tomorrow.

Works like this

The car is made as an RS2 in Japan

When it arrives in the UK, its then made into an FQ3OO. All FQ's are a UK thing done by Mitsu UK.

So its both.

Chassis no. of an RS2 has 17 digits and the model code is SNGFR

If its chassis no. is 11 digits and the model code is SNGF, its a GSR.
