I think it has moved on for the better

After all its quite obvious after reading wastegate that every car on the road is faster than the FQ400

from the article in the lancer forum magazine i would say that the 400 is crying out for NO's
sure fire way to eliminate most of the hesitance
just get the wizards to fit a system that comes in from the moment you nail the trottle until boost is present
simple to do and very efective

ps how can the xtreme be qiucker with stats above when you have wrote yourself that the 400 times are qiucker

pps i was in the passenger seat in jases 400 when he dabbled with ianxtreme (top car by the way) and i would have to agree with ians comment, the 400 was all over him

Didn't read the article but from the times you posted, there doesn't appear to be much in it.

For my two pence worth, split times are not always a true reflection.

The Extreme cost £40k 5 years ago so in monetary terms theres not much in it and same with performance :shrug:

my 400 would kill a xtream mate i have owened both and 400 is the better car all round

when me and ian had a play i was over him like a rash and when i was infront of him i left tralling well behind

Not saying it was as fast or faster I merely said similar

The V1 Extreme ( not RS450 ) had roughly 310 lb/ft Torque

The FQ 400 has 355lb/ft Torque

My car has a peak torque of 356 lb/ft

I bet it is slower than a 400 if you wind the 400 up and keep it there?

i test drove the rs450 as well im sorry to say


it was a disapointment

I have heard they are a pig too drive with the Cam set up and very tough clutch
