Hi All,
Here is a video shot with my new GoPro Black Edition, its temporarily mounted to my frame. The castle in Okehampton is the largest in Devon but is in ruins, such a beautiful day.

@WonkyBeast cheers mate, I used the waterproof case (due to flying over water) but I removed the bottom section of the GoPro mount and used the hole to zip tie between to metal rods and squeezed against some foam against my undercarriage. It was a quick bodge job to get some footage while it was sunny...which has now gone again

@Argos Thanks a lot. On paper I can get 1.2km range as long as I stay high in the air....if I am at ground level (under 3 meters) then its about 600meters, check out this video where I just go in a straight line until I lose RC signal but my video link stayed rock solid the whole time..

More great footage. I love the idea of looking down on stuff, seeing what the birds see.

I use Google maps on the satelite and aerial photo mode all the time with work, and the amount of stuff you don't see or notice from the ground is amazing.

I take it the Go Pro is transmitting the view back to your goggles for flying it? Very cool :coolsm:

Cheers mate. I am using the GoPro solely to record my flights, I did a bodge mount to my quacopter to get this footage and it is facing too far down to fly by.

If you look at the photo at the end of my video's you will see the Sony PZ0420 HWDR cam above my flight camera which I use to transmit the video back via 5.8Ghz to some video goggles.

This is my first video made with my GoPro and I love it apart from my hard drive has had a kicking playing with all the high bit rate (24mb+) footage :smthumbup
