Been to look at an evo 4 today and noticed it had folding front seats is this normal..???? ie with it been a 4 door etc. plus the lever to move them forward was on the left hand side of the seats as you look at them from the back seats of the car..? do the bolsters of the seats wear easily..??

Also is the gear change stiff normally. It didnt feel really stiff just slightly..??

yes the std evo 4 seats are folding recaros. they should have the lifters on both sides of the seats.

sometimes the gear change can be stiff when the cars cold like first thing in the morning. this is common on a few different mitsis. once its warmed up it should be ok

I had that problem on the VIII MR, so looks like a common problem across the board.
