Now not too much of a technical question but....

what is the process?
How much would it cost?
What does it look like after?
Where can I see a piccy of an interior 'flocked'?
Is it worthwile?

Thanks

I love a good flock!

I had the dashboard flocked, and that cost about £300. Ears motorsport do it. It gives a feeling and look of alcantara - looks great especially mixed with carbon!

The process requires you to send the parts to be flocked to Ears (or whoever). The flocked stuff is sprayed on and the baked in an oven at high temperature (something like that). Occasionally, the stuff doesn't adhere properly, and they have to redo it (as happened to part of mine).

Even my glove box is flocked :D

The idea of flocking on a dash is so you don't get relections from the shiny plastic in the windscreen, very off putting when flat out through a forest I should imagine.

I have never heard of reflections from a glove box being a problem though. :D

Thomas and amp; Vines (01923 775111) - experts in flocking......... just done complete dash on my E7 rally car.......... superb quality ........... I think they do the Ford Focus world rally cars as well.
We paid £230 all in for the entire dash, glove box, centre panels and centre console.
