just gathering bits together atm for when the car arrives,

when i drop my headunit in am i going to need a surround, iv had a quick search on here and couldnt find much, had a look on ebay and google and couldnt find much about surrounds either?

its got some big silver double din thing in atm so im assuming i will need on, anyone have any advice where to get one, halfords?

Get the mitsi brackets (which could be on the radio thats in the car) and a din-sized pocket (or gauges) to fill the bottem half of the hole.

You can get a surround that converts the space to a single din unit and then the second din into a cubby hole. That's what I did with mine and fitted my boost controller and handsfree display there instead.

you may or may not still have the factory brackets to bolt the head unit to , i guess you wont know until you take a look at it
