After owning a yellow top for 5 months and it sitting in my garage i finally got round to fitting it today but it wasn't without its trials namely its much bigger and doesn't fit with the hard pipes installed!


I prefer to do things in a way that it can be reversed should the need arise so the next issue was what to do with this


Here's how i overcome both issues, i tunr the battery 90 degrees but had to trim the sides of the battery tray to do so


Then i customised a a box i bought from maplin


And refitted the positive distribution inside it



Tucked it under the support bar and earthed it to an existing earth point but will find a better chassis point tomorrow


She fires in a heart beat and no issues listing to radio for more than 2 mins with engine off :-D Win

Yep I know I always try and leave at least 10mm from the engine and pipework or any thing that could move about. That looks like it's squashed between the battery and inlet pipe

Just wanted to finish the thread off with the finished product end results, all cables out of harms way :-D
