After speaking to my local garage who said they could fit a dawes device to my car for me no problem i went and bought one :) :)
i took the car to them to get fitted but when i returned they hadnt fitted it :cry:
the mechanic explained there was 3 places he could fit it to and would prefer to know where other evo owners had placed them for safety reasons :confused:

can anyone help me out pleeease xx

In other words he doesn't know how to fit it.
Remove old boost control pipe work (keep it though).
top (with bend) of dawes to boost supply nipple, bottom to actuator. Use as short pipework as you can while still keeping the dawes accessible, and preferably use pipe with a cotton braide.

The nipple on the inlet pipe which originally connects to the boost control solenoid needs to be blanked

Is this correct I thought the end of the Dawes with the bend connected to the actuator and not the boost nipple?

Where about in Scotland are you from? There are plenty of decent garages who would fit your dawes with no problems.

the pipe from the air flow pipe has to be blanked off but does the sensor have to be plug/taped up to stop any air getting to it even wind passing through the engine bay cos i still can't get my boost controller to work (i notice a drop in power and a quieter dump valve whoosh) :confused:

ps sorry for jumping on the thread :D

im hopfully taking it to AP motors on the R/R to get it done i'm just not having any luck with it :confused:

inside the T piece is a ball and spring
