As I know nothing about fishing I wonder if someone could explain to me if the moon phase actually makes a difference to when fish feed and the importance to an angler. We bought some fishing watches in from Casio, designed originally for the Australian market. I just cant get my head around moon phase = good fishing (or not) and would like to have some simple background information so I can sound like I know what I am talking about.

i think the moon phase is mainly for sea fishing m8,high tides etc i could be wrong but there you go.

personally i believe there is some thruth in it , aslo look out for big pressure changes rises will tend to be better but big drops can have an effect to.

mate when this eclipse happened it was in the fishing magazines the trouts went crazy and people made alot of catches

im a fisherman myself a fly fisherman and bait fishing aint done it for a couple of yrs coz been busy , its awesome just u and the nature and man that last cast can last hours so addictive even if u dont catch anything
