The deox is great but IIRC you have to put it on and seal it from O2 for 24 hours so only good on small stuff

Are you over painting the stone chip?

I'm in the same predicament! I'm leaving the factory coating in the 4 arches but the underside is a bit scruffy. I was too thinking of doing the whole lot. I'm now thinking of leaving smooth...

Out of interest how will you prep the stone chip for the top coat? And how long between the stone chip coat and top coat?

There's some very good home kits available. I have one, it's great as you can do them bit by bit and not end up with a bucket of bolts!

Actually I have so you better save some :lol:

Cam wheels are zinc plated then passivated with olive drab.

olive drab is the the choice of Mr Mita... due to his fetish of this coating i am almost out of it.

Bad news is I can't get anymore of it. :handsup: So I'm hoping he ain't got too many more bits he wants doing :crackup:
