When i fill my water spray resevoir on my 8 to the brim, the level starts to drop immediately and pours water on to the floor until it reaches a certain level and then stops, is this normal or should it fill to the top and stay filled? Also when in manual mode, should there be a light on the dash, there is one when its on auto, but nothing on manual.

I haven't topped mine up so don't know about the drop to a certain level. RE the light the dash light just shows it is in auto mode, there won't be one for manual. You can check if manual is working by just using it while the car is still then get out and check for dripping water. I wouldn't worry too much about the spray cos it doesn't do much good anyway.

If it's the same as the VII, there's an overflow pipe well bellow the level of the top of the bottle, which is where it will be coming out of if you're trying to fill it right up.

It's full if it starts pouring out of that pipe!

Yes, my VIII has the same overflow pipe that empties any excess straight out on the floor below the bottle.

yeah overflow pipe, ive taken my bottle out coz ive got the APS ind and water bottle and found the overflow on the original..
