agreed, the click is just the clutch on the a/c compressor, but the uneven revs are much more noticable than in any car I've had before though, most cars are set up to run smoothly with a/c on with little fluctuation, compressor on or off, X doesn't seem to want to stick to a constant rev at all with a/c on, actually revving itself over 1200 rpm sometimes with your foot off the accelerator pedal, so I just generally leave it off unless I'm steamed up No big deal though
