As above, what's the best technique to launch without damaging the clutch/gearbox/drivetrain?

Your car comes with launch control, google\youtube for how to use it. Not saying it's safe to do though Without the car's help (LC) it's hard to get the car off the line that efficiently without doing some wear, best to just hold some revs on the brake then go.
