Found out today Mitsubishi have a sense of humour.
Who hides all the mntg bolts to the turbo behind oil pipes and gearbox webbing.
I'm gonna have to move the studs to turbo flange to allow removal was hoping not to do that as the studs may shear.

hi,my advice would be to remove turbo + manifold + turbo elbow in one piece, undo the exhaust downpipe(2 sprung loaded bolts) remove in one go,much easier to work on,dont try to undo turbo elbow/outlet bolts they will snap.i guarantee it,they are very hard steel, swine to drill out:smthumbup

seems the transfer box has to come off to remove turbo bottom bolts. Just looked in the manual. Cant get my stud removers onto manifold rear studs to try and just take them out so I didn't have to remove turbo. Frustrating is not the word im using
