Any one else like me, totally bone idle towards washing the car lately?

Went into one of those drive thru supa-suds, sticky foam jet-wash places. Handed over my hard earned fiver, only to sit and listen to a youngster 'blast' the accumulated road salt off the Evo with a high power lance.

Sitting there thinking...oh fek', what have I done. Paid the extra £1.50 to get the alloy wheels sparkle treatment :blush:


After all the panic it turned out okay, streaky, but okay

Don't think I'll be using it again though. Need to dust off the bucket and jumbo sponge.

The guys in Dundee are pretty good - £3.50 + £1 for wheels cleaned up and they take their time and do a good job usually

I have to get my neighbour to turn the water on to wash it at home, so it's either that, or a jet wash - I've even taken it through a drive through twice, in an "emergency" :crackup:

Mainly it's manky, though, 'cos I drive it all the time, and within 10 mins of leaving home it's covered in mud, the roads I like Even the engine bay gets covered in mud, and is a pain to clean...
