Any one else like me, totally bone idle towards washing the car lately?

Went into one of those drive thru supa-suds, sticky foam jet-wash places. Handed over my hard earned fiver, only to sit and listen to a youngster 'blast' the accumulated road salt off the Evo with a high power lance.

Sitting there thinking...oh fek', what have I done. Paid the extra £1.50 to get the alloy wheels sparkle treatment

After all the panic it turned out okay, streaky, but okay :)

Don't think I'll be using it again though. Need to dust off the bucket and jumbo sponge.

The guys in Dundee are pretty good - £3.50 + £1 for wheels cleaned up and they take their time and do a good job usually :)

I have to get my neighbour to turn the water on to wash it at home, so it's either that, or a jet wash - I've even taken it through a drive through twice, in an "emergency"

Mainly it's manky, though, 'cos I drive it all the time, and within 10 mins of leaving home it's covered in mud, the roads I like :D Even the engine bay gets covered in mud, and is a pain to clean...

Cheers :)
