Hi, i'm just in the process of replacing my rear shocks on my 6, however, i have a problem with the rear nearside one, in particular the upper bush. It seems to be compressing (almost flat) once i tighten the top nut and release the spring clamps, which, looking at the other side, is not right. Ive checked the exploded parts diagram for this strut i seem to be missing a small part that sits between the top mount and upper bush. I'm going to order this part but in the meantime can anybody tell me if this is causing my issue or am i doing something wrong...???

Ok, will get some up a bit later when i have chance. If you look at the strut tops from inside the boot, the rubber bush which sits under the top nut and washer, has squashed down on the one side and bulged out. It should be tapered and stood up almost like theres nothing compressing it down. I'll take a pic anyway and get it up...
