So im selling my scooby and getting an EVO, but which evo do i get. In my price range i can only get an evo V or an evo VI, but which one do i get? Which one will last and which holds its value? I know the evo VI is quicker but i need a car quicker and more enjoyable than my 300bhp scooby.

Who told you the VI was quicker than the V?

If you don't really care which look you have, get the best condition car you can afford, regardless of the model.

Get a VI if you can. It is a slightly better car than the V, should normally have less miles also.

Depends on your budjet, a good 5 will cost you a lot less than a rough 6 in the long run. Me, I would buy a 5 and a few basic mods, rather than run a standard 6. The 2 models are very similar though

Either. As said above though, take your time and buy a good one. That's the key.

The VI also comes in Icelle blue which is the best colour evo in the whole range. If you're after one you'd do well to buy from am established MLR member too.

It comes up with an error, the car obviously isn't for sale any more. Pretty badly done site actually. Making it crash in interesting ways shows that they haven't normalised their database properly, mixed with the non-existent error handling it's quite an amateurish job.

Your right, looks like its sold now.....it was a yellow 5 with lots of upgrades running 360 bhp.

I bought a black six new in 1999 , and looked at a black 5 with 3k on it .

The only reason i bought the 6 over the 5 was the small difference in price between the two cars at the time.

If i were buying now and had to decide between the two i would go for a 5 .

I much prefer the look of the 5 over the 6 , it just looks so balanced ( front fogs , number plate , rear lights etc etc ) where the 6 looks unbalanced , my opinion of course.

Any money saved on buying a 5 i would re - invest back into the car.
