I notice that hardly anybody runs a dry sump setup on their Evo's , even those used almost exclusively for track days etc and running on sticky tyres which promote even higher cornering forces than usual.

Is the standard 4G63 setup just really well designed, i.e properly baffled etc, as I would have thought that given a well prepared Evo's cornering ability on slicks, more people would have suffered with oil starvation ?

Any input greatly received !

Do you want one then Edd?

I would have run one on my last Cossie if it was going to get more use on the track than it did.
In answer to your question, yes, if it was advisable to run one I'd be interested, but unfortunately I haven't got the Evo to fit it to just yet - will probably be looking at a VI or VII RS when the time comes and keep the V6 Mondeo for the motorway work ! ;)
