seeing as lots of people keep asking me advice on buying a used EVO6 I thought I'd make a webpage.

Im no EVO expert but I have compiled something from my own thoughts but mainly from all the advice that I got from this board when I bought my car (a lot of it was from HH6 as you might expect :-O ). If anyone is interested in reading it and would like to make any ammendments, additions or point out any blatant mistakes then please do... my mail is at the bottom of the page. Heres the link:

Jackal,
A very very good page and definitely one for anyone who wants to buy an Evo.
Only one (very very minor) detail in that you state the RSX has wind up windows whereas it has actually got elecy ones. The RS has the wind up ones.
I know its picky but you did say ANY mistake to point out.

Great page

How about expanding that into a FAQ also.
Heres one. Anyone put a 6 speed box in one yet.

Cheers

Nice page, but there is a small confusion in there. It says somewhere Ferrari 355 (which is an old model) when it should be 360.

I agree a FAQ could come in handy.

Good page. A slight error is that AYC only affects rear axle torque distribution doesn't it?

Also 95RON UL is probably safe to use as long as you don't use anything near full throttle. However given the temptation to mash the throttle at every opportunity 95RON should only be used in an emergency.
