If your going rallying in it you need a GT not an RS

The GT is the homoligated version of the 9
all the other ones evo 5 to 8 in the rallying in the uk are all rs versions, i dont understand bud why use a gt or a gsr when everyone elses uses an rs

Homoligation - to be within the rules for group A or N you must base your rally car on the model that the manufacturer puts forward for the homoligation process

On all previous models of evo this has been the RS variant but with the 9 it is the GT that they have used - don't ask me why !

Evo IX RS

Limited to a production run of 200 units, aimed at the Japanese market. As already stated it's the GT that Mitsubishi plan to homologate.

An RS isn't going to work out that cost effective as you'd be facing a one off noise and emission test to be able to register it within the UK, big cost for one car!

We have a model report for the GT and GSR versions.
