Hi I have just Bought an evo 9 rear bumper,Does anyone know what sort of job it is to remove the old bumper?and what its like to fit the new one?:smthumbup
O and mine is an evo8 fq330

It's a straight forward swap over, IIRC when I did mine the hardest part was attaching the number plate lights & bracket as the config. on the IX is slighty different.

Try the search button, I'm sure it's been covered in a step-by-step by someone, though not 100%.

does it still have all the clips and brackets attached or is it the skin ?

Got it off now!,not difficult but had a few snapped bolts!the 10mm under the rear light units,got some wd40 on them first but they still snapped!!,once the bumper was off,I have drilled them and re-tapped a new thread in because they are captive nuts.
put it all back together tommorrow morning.
have got the old evo 8 number plate lights fitted,with a bit of cockin up.
I wish mitsi had used a little grease on some of the fixings tho when they built it!:frust:
