Hey guys,

Not sure if this is better off here or under the brakes section, mods feel free to move if necessary.

I've upgraded the brake lines on my 7 to braided lines and run new fluid through the system. The brakes bled up perfectly, but when I got around to bleeding the clutch I ran into an issue - the pedal stays on the floor and I'm not getting any new fluid through the bleed valve. I tried both the 2 man manual method, and using a pneumatic bleed tool but no luck either way.

Is it likely to be an issue with the master cylinder, or have I mucked up somewhere along the way?

The reservoir did drop to about half full at one point because my helper stopped paying attention :bored: would that cause a problem?

theres 2 bits in the res, one for brakes and one for clutch, look at the back of res and see if theres any fluid there, if there aint thats ur problem ull need to put more fluid in, fill res to the top fully and start again.

Both chambers in the reservoir are sitting at max, which is what makes me think the cylinder may be buggered. The reservoir doesn't appear to drain at all when you pump the clutch, no fluid is being pushed through from what I can tell.

Bleed the brakes with the engine running?
Go around each wheel twice.

Forgot to update;

Replaced the clutch master cylinder and everything bled up perfectly afterwards.
