I've been on the hunt for a couple of months now for my dream car, but im struggling to find one due to being fussy.

Evo 6 Reims blue.
Fresh import or only been in the uk a couple of years
Max 65k miles
Grade 4 or above
Possibly a few basic mods; coilovers, air filter, exhaust. Nothing over 400bhp.

Money waiting for the right car

There is one coming up here this week if you are interested in importing one with our import service. Drop me a message and can give you some more info on it. Mileage a bit more than you were looking though.
Thanks

You need to INSPECT any car buddy - not just dismiss it because of your opinion on "cars been in country too long" [email protected] classics had/has one of the best Icelle Blue VI GSRs I have ever seen and that was a 1999 UK car (but had been cared for).

Your 100% right.
But the car in question had sketchy mot history. And has been forsale for quite a while and is cheap. Personally for me alarm bells are already ringing.

That car is beautiful makes me think twice about a uk car

Why not check out the import the Imeka Cars mention then? They are trusted on here and won't sell you rubbish.

In general JDM VIs will be a lot better than a UK car 20 years on. Not ALL just I gave up looking for a decent car in 2014 after a year of looking and just got an import. Best thing I did. Mileage is irrelevant if the car is sound. Rheims blue VI is hard to find in the first place, let alone a decent one. You buying for investment or for the 'right reasons' to own a VI? You planning on actually driving the car then 2K miles a year to enjoy it say, who cares if it has 80K miles if serviced? Seen 'lower mileage' cars all properly serviced but in worse condition. Looked at a (UK) VII back in 2013. FULL SERVICE HISTORY (properly done, folder full of stuff) 45K miles. Looked mint. Was going to buy, went back next day with deposit, got it on a ramp - back end/chassis legs/wheel arches and fuel filler - OH MY! Original owner from 2002 hadn't bothered protecting the car from the Salt from day one. That was just one.

I am not saying you are not a serious buyer, but we get loads of dreamers on here. I wouldn't mess about to be honest, If you want your dream VI just import one from a reputable place like Imeka, TorqueGT, SVA Imports, DCY and then make the car your own. Nothing wrong with being fussy, I am with my money too, but you can wait and wait and end up with nothing for years looking for perfection. If you have 40K to splash it's different. If you are budgeting 13K plus another few grand for upkeep/mods you are doing the right thing.

Have a read of the buyers guide link on the Homepage too ;-)

I've dropped Jarlath a message on facebook, I've also heard good things about Imeka cars.

I've been searching for a good few months already.

Did you have your car imported or did you buy one already imported? Who imported your car?

I'm actually buying the car for my daily lol, I had a white 5 as my daily last year.

I'll check it out thanks

+1 for Neil's car seen that, photographed it, etc. Check this one out in person and you will buy it I expect.

I got my VI imported from SVA Imports in 2014. Done a few bits on it to make it 'my evo' but was a solid base car from them. Love it.
