Been offered a set of evo 6 pistons on evo 2 rods with ARP rod bolts. If I was going for a decent power upgrade. ie 350bhp. would this be a good upgrade? Have been offered them for £110 quid all in, and only did 2000 miles in the engine, all in good order.

I'm sure someone will know :) Thanks in advance!

As Mike says if its coming apart do it right mate.... if you are on a tight budget then i suppose the E6 pistons would be an option and you could get away without reboring etc......but by the time you put new rings etc on is it worth it ??....also dont put Evo2 rods back in as they are like matchsticks...i will get some pics of my old ones for you tonight to show you how thin they are!

Cheers

Paul
those are the ones that were on e-bay
....the guy had originally advertised them as being forged...obviously didn't know any better !
- also no guarantee that the car had only done 2000 miles is there ?

as the guys have said...go for forgies
.....unless you can buy new/as new e7 pistons very very cheap

btw
did you receive money for filter etc ?
can't find letter so have assumed it got posted :(
