Hi there

Are the Evo6 GSR and RS engines different ?
Do they have different boost ?
I cant find any information on the differences, if any.

Good Morning Ron

Evo 6 GSR and amp; RS are the same engine and same power as well - 4G63
The major difference for them are GSR weight 1360 kg and RS weight 1260 kg.

The good compromise is the RS-2, which I do not think you have in the UK, which has electric windows and air-con, but only weighs 1280 kgs.

I thought I heard somewhere that the turbos were different but I find that hard to believe.

The EVO VI RS/RS2 and EVO VI TME has an titanium/aluminium turbo instead of an aluminium turbo that you find in the GSR

Thought so....

RS versions also have a twin plate clutch and the GSR has a single plate clutch.

Think the twin plate clutch was only a factory option on the RS, not standard. As was AYC....
