The answer is probably on the site someplace but dont have the time to search, will the evo 6 ecu directly replace the evo 4 ecu without messing?

Also my 4 is running 1.4-1.5+ bar boost apparently as standard??
There was a bleed valve fitted when i got the car, but closed its running upto 1.3/1.4 with no obviouse signs of tampering any ideas? but yes it does cut the fuel at about 1.3 bar sometimes but not always!!

I don't think it does but I can't be bothered to search for you either :D:D:D

The boost has probably been altered by changing the size of the P-jet (as it's called). Have a look at the boost controllers technical article for more details on the P-jet and the various restrictors in the boost control setup.#

It will fit but you need to alter the wiring, and max boost safe to run without a fuel pump upgrade should be 1 bar MAX, if you want the engine to last any length of time.
Evo 4 boost cuts can be as high as 1.7 bar. so don't use the cut as a guide to how high you can wind the boost up.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
