As title, I stumbled upon an Evo 5RS that's travelled the universe and they're asking £11k for it. It's been well sun bleached, looks quite shabby really. Yes it's an RS, but it can't be worth £11k can it? what are peoples thoughts?

Surely most would put an uprated engine in the car? If it were mine i would put a speedo i with a sensible mileage. Not to fool people on resale but to save all the stick from my mates. High mileage cars that have be3n to the moon and back attract a lot of jokes from friends :)

That's a bit steep in my book. However condition underneath would be my main concern not mileage. Is it a fresh import?
It does seem a tad steep, I didn't think it would be at £11k really but there have been so many shock prices of late who knows! Yes it appears to be a fresh import. The advert says 150,000 miles and i was tempted to chop my 7 in for it assuming they'd done a typo and meant 150,000 km's, but no it's done 250,000 km's so 150,000 miles.
And yes i think it's just a factory engine...

Who is the importer?
It's just a local car dealer near me, certainly not an import specialist, so anyone buying it would no doubt have to do all the service, fluids, timing belt etc etc after purchase. I wish I knew how to post links up. It's on ebay.

I have to agree that 7's onward are a nice place to be, the problem I have is I love my 7, but i'm addicted to surfing the net to see what else is out there and now and then something pops up that I think would make me more happy, this 5RS had it been 150,000km's might just have swayed me to change. I really don't want something that's a bit shabby looking with those kind of miles on though and certainly not for that money.
I need counselling to kick my classifieds surfing habit so I can just be happy with what I've got.

Love my 5rs , but I've always loved the 7rs too. If I had enough time I would have both, but sadly I don't even have enough time for mine.

I just can't see that being rot free after that many miles.
