I think it looks rude to be honest, mean , classy, different.

A newer Evo without a wing ......... would look even more like a taxi.

If I ever get my IV sold and get an VIII that will be the first thing I get. Somthing about it just makes me like it. But it has to be color matched.

in the anime Initial D, one of the characters had a wingless TME in white. i think it looked awesome.

just wanted to know if any Evo 5/6 owners had done it, it like to see it on a real Evo.

I dont think anyone would have the guts to make thier classic one of a kind Evo look NOT like an Evo

no wing on a 5 or 6 :tsk:

The yanks are big on taking the wing off them, I've read on quite alot of forums people saying **American Drawl**"I love the new car, just need to get the big spoiler taken off now" like it's a normal thing to do!

has any one ever seen a japanese taxi ?

they look like a 50's american car and are usualy decorated with doilies on the head rests

yeh, people in north america prefer a more low-profile look on their cars.

GT wings are usually vandalized or ridiculed, unless they serve some kind of purpose on a car.

american STi and Evo owners will usually keep the stock wing on, but some take it off, to make it more of a sleeper look.


we dont have Evos here in canada. and im planning on building an Evo 6, using a FWD Mirage chassis. when i get around to doing the body conversion, im wondering if i should bother with the wing.

the car will be used mostly for Auto-X, so downforce isnt even a concern of mine.

looks awesome wayne, thats what i was looking for. thanks for sharing.

I think 8's pull off the no spoiler look better than the 6's IMO but still prefer both with, or at the very least the small carbon one
