EVO 5/6 One Piece Headlights Relay Wiring Diagram needed!

Just mounted the headlights. The Hi and Low beam doesnt light together on the Hi beam mode.. The wiring diagram is missing in the older threads!

(Problem solved?
2x Relays needed. One for each light.

Pin 87 - Chassis Earth
Pin 30 - Low Beam Earth from H4 plug
Pin 85 - High beam earth from H4 plug
Pin 86 - Positive feed from H4 plug

I've been making a twin relay loom up for mine, but my diagrams aren't the greatest. I'm out just now but will draw one up later and post it if nobody beats me to it.

Are you sorted?

are you running standard type halogen type bulbs, or HID's?

No im not sorted. Still waiting for diagram. Standard Bulbs yes. Not HIDs.

ok, only ask as it can be done easily with HID's

I can probably tell you a way to do it with 1 additional relay, but i'd rather someone more knowledgeable gave you a tried and tested diagram, rather than me try and work something out

Well...

Gimme your Relay idea on paper.. Its the 3 cables. black(ground) goes to both Hi and Low. The blue goes to Hi beam and white goes to Low beam.

How to wire on a Relay so that low beam lights on both modes?

Im useless on relays and car electronics. But i can solder a guitar haha:mitsi:

Edit. Just read post and saw it's not for HIDs

So in diagram just treat the ballasts as lamps instead. Using two relays means you don't need to worry about load on existing wiring in the loom if your bulbs are higher power. Makes the full beam mod easy and switchable too.

Ok. I use the relay on the short cables from the lights before the contact from the car right? Ill look at my email now..

Is this correct? My Hi beam is blue cable and low white. earth black to both..

Lets say from the bulb i have from Hi beam Blue and Black. Low = White and Black.
Which are going on the Relay if we talk in "living colours"...
