Been thinking of taking my front fog lamps off. there going rusty and just dont like them on the car. Been looking at how to take them off looks like there on a brackets which go behind the bumper do u need to take the bumper off to get to them? or is there any other way any help thanks mat

you could do a rear fog conversion in the rear cluster and hook up and seperate relay to power the fog bulb. Its been done on mine.

yeah sorry my mistake.
To remove the front fogs, youll need the bumper off, which is a biatch! basically, the bracket that holds the fogs are part of/screwed onto the bracing behind the bumper, so to seperate it, you need the whole thing off, and theres a canny few screws, plus 4 hidden 12mm bolts. These tricky funkers actually bolt the to legs protruding back from the bumper into the chassis legs. You need to get under the car, and use a geet long as oot extension and socket to get to them. Not forgetting the countless bolts, allen key bolts, and screws.

oh, just remembered, when i got mine, the fogs were removed, the previous guy had taken them off, and the 2 legs which hold either side of the fog was bent flat and the mesh renewed. Basically, he cheated, but it worked.
