I have a customer who has ordered a set of Enkei Shogun wheels
from me; been making some enquiries and they are a pig to get hold of,
but I believe I have found someone who can get them !

I will know by about 10am today (Tue) for sure; if he cant get them
I will probably import them direct from the USA; if you let me know
what you want I may be able to do them with a nice discount.

Morning Andy,

Yes they are mate, very much the same as fitted to the Group A car.

Look quite nice ?

Daz,
One problem you might have with them is that they state on the wheels that they are to be used for intermittent use only (i.e. rally use) however my friend has had them on his E6 for a while without any problems. I'll have a word with him today and see where he got them from.
But you are right, they do look like the dogs danglies.

Daz,
I've spoken with my friend who said that they were already fitted to his car when it was imported from Japan.
He said that someone else (Blowdog) had tried to get some but to no avail.
It looks like the best way will be to import them direct from America or Japan.

Hope that helps

there is a local distributor for enkei in europe. it might be better to get wheels from japan than america. if you've seen the enkei usa site, a lot of the wheels sold there are rather ricey.

http://www.enkei.co.jp/corporation/group/gro28.htm (enkei europe, use babelfish.altavista.com to help translate).
http://www.enkei.co.jp is their japan website. the gear master knows a bit of english. i wrote him before (in japanese). unfortunately, enkei japan does not ship to individual customers outside of their country. you'll have to deal with an importer.

Well, the guy who said he could get me the Enkei wheels refused to take my
calls all day long; despite leaving three messages, didnt have the decency
to reply.

I'll give him one more try in the morning, if I get no joy, im giving up on Enkei
(and the wheel supplier ive been using) 8-(

Tell you what.....why not buy the best made wheel on the plantet.....Blitz Technospeed Z1's;
I could do you a one off VAT free deal on those and amp;lt;VBG and amp;gt;

Well,

turns out my distributor can get Enkei wheels after all,
there is no UK distributor, but he gets a big discount with a US
distributor and we are going to get them that way.

Out of interest im going to get you an approximate price to get you
a set of these wheels.

Justin,

I have a set of Blitz Technospeed Z1's 8x18 and yes they are of high quality and they look superb but there are some negatives.
I hit a huge pothole down a country lane and flattened part of the rim, one of the reasons of buying these wheels was the fact that they are 3 piece and I could change a part if damaged, or so I thought! The wheels look 3 piece but infact the two parts of rim inner and outer are welded together, and then bolted to the centre piece. When I enquired at Blitz to buy a new rim they told me I had to buy a new wheel as they couldn't sell me a seperate part for safety reasons, Not good with one wheel costing £500! I also have a set of OZ superleggera's which are good quality and quite a bit lighter than the Z1's in weight and in price!

Fastchick,

I havent got any money, its all gone on my supra !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I finally bought the HKS GT Twin Turbine kit, manifold, twin external
wastegates for my supra last week, retail at £6,700 !!!!! and rated
at over 800bhp at 2bar.....whoooppeeeeeeeee.....and thats without NOS !!!!

Now my supra is close to being finished, I can concentrate on my evo,
sounds like ive got a LOT of catching to do if im to keep up with some of
the evo's on this board !!!!

Best wishes,
