I've read up that you can remove the egr and carbon canister which I plan to do for numerous reasons, what I was wondering was can I remove the vacuum solenoid too? I realise this will possibly flag up fault codes but I'm running a motec m800 ecu so presuming these items could be deactivated on the ecu to stop any fault codes appearing?

Any input appreciated thanks

Sorry Its an evo 9

Was searching the net on removing the carbon canister and that's where I came across the egr removal too, but after a closer look at the car there isn't an egr valve after all (manifold is blanked)

That's the guide I came across, once that's done there will be 3 solenoid's that have nothing connected and just wanted to know if I unplug them I'm presuming it'll throw up a fault code?

If so can they be disabled on the motec m800 ecu?
