This was done with NO other mods on my Dynapack 4wd dyno.
GT35R, Autronic SM4, Eagle/Wiseco 2,3 Stroker, 3" exhaust, stock head, HKS 272.
Here you can see the difference between stock intake (thick line) vs Ku Engineering intake (thin line) with velocity stacks. The new intake gives about 15 whp less @ 5500 rpm, but adds about 45 whp at 8000 rpm.
Everything else are the same.
Boost was the same 1.80-1.85 bar, AFR within 10.7-11.2

dyno results

Great info, thanks for posting. I read it with particular interest as i have one to go on my Evo 2 with an HKS GT3240 turbo. I plan on using larger than standard Greddy intercooler and larger 75mm throttle body. I have 1000cc injectors to go in but havn't decided on a fuel pump set-up yet.

I have some questions though:

Is your throttle body standard?
what spec is the intercooler?
what fueling set-up are you using?

Thanks,

Aran

Hi!
Standard throttle body and standard cooler. 880 cc injectors and Walbro 255 in tank. Standard fuel lines. Raised the boost to 2,05 bar today and got 517 Hp at the hubs. Did not dare to raise it more, cause my fuel pump have reached its max. AFR was rising slowly towards 12,1, no matter how much I increased injector opening time.

Sorry to bring this thread from death..
To OP: What would you change on this intake???Do you have this one still???:)
Going to buy this intake and redesign it..
What about extend runners between tank and head?? could move your peak power to the left in powerband... cus to me this runners are too short, so this intake must perform amazingly say w "boost 3bar and 11k rpms shifts"
Def Love your 2.05 Bar dyno sheet. nice power curve.. Looks the more air the more efficient is this intake

Thanks for Sharing!

power with Ku Intake

Unfortunately I don't have an over lay of the two power graphs (OEM intake versus Ku) but my dyno graphs after I fitted the Ku intake are below.

I'll try and find my other dyno graphs but they show fwhp not awhp. last session with OEM intake and std wired walbro made 433 whp at 7110 rpm (Dastek Dyno).

Spec is forged 2 litre, FP3 cams, gas-flowed head, Gt3240 turbo. am making similar power to bsh's build, (466 whp @ 7160rpm on Mainline Dynolog) however i'm not sure how much more there was to come, max boost was just over 1.7 bar holding 1.6 bar to nearly 8000rpm.

Great you sharing dynosheet:)
Its on oem Throttle body?
So your last dyno w oem intake was 433 whp at 7110 rpm ad now w KU intake you did 466whp at 7160..better w KU intake right..??what boost w oem intake please/ KU intake was 1.7Bar right
would be great see comparsion sheet w oem intake vs KU at same boost as bsh did , to know KU intakes perform about same..:))

I would like put this moded intake(extend runners between plenum and head to gain power in midrange..better spool up) w 3" Throttle body on my 2.0l 4G63 6Bolt( running 2G 95 Mitsu Eclipse AWD) w Mahle8.5cr /Eagle combo, cryoed crank,Kelford 272,beehive valve springs,FIC 1650cs, wally in tank+BoschO44 inline, Quarter master twin disc clutch,BW s 300 91/79 turbo in T4 divided ex.side, pushing for now only 2.5Bar cus Iam out of fuel(need third pump:( )and my oem ignition coil is missfiring..so next year going w ARC dis 2 and 3Bar boost w pure E85.Looking for 9.5sec at 1/4mile and 800+BHP :)
