Apparently, the stock box is very good. Some choose to modify the lid of the standard box to let a bit more air in. Logs show a 2-3kpa improvement baro reading by just cutting the outside edge section of the top lid away. Makes a nice noise also if you like that sort of thing
At least you are not messing with the stock MAF setup.
