I pursume the gas route is as shown by the red arrows, then at a certain pressure the flap is opened and the gas route becomes more direct? Is that right?

Do you think it is possible to remove the flap or keep it continously open? It would only be a short term solution until my wallet gets used to martgage payments
decat pipe and back box will take care of the worst restrictions leave the downpipe in place to prevent cel light issues change filter to good performance panel filter(hks) or like,car will be alot more responsive

Yeh nothing like a quick disc cut on the top little beating with chisel to remove flap and weld the a plate over disc cut hole . I would have tried it if i had seen inside one before i did mine. it would work.
