digital climate control ouside tempiture probe???

On my digital climate control it has a option for out side temperature. Now mine reads 64f all the time. Mine does not work. How does this read the temp out side? Is their a probe which is wired in some where.

Any help in what i need to get mine to work would be great.

and if it is a probe where is this wire and what is the color code.
