When clicking on the "edit" icon, you get the option to delete a post.
When I try to delete a post I get a message saying i'm not permitted to??

Is this correct or am I doing something wrong??

Thanks Dave ;)

Last time I tried it I could delete my own posts but only within a certain time window - not sure if this still applies or even how long that window is.

Dave took the permission away as some people were abusing it.

Posting trolly stuff then deleting it when they had caused trouble, and non members were using it to get round the 20 post limit by deleting their older stuff.

You have about 30 seconds from posting to still delete in case it was a complete mistake IIRC

The lengths some poeple go to to save a few quid amazes me. An ex-gf of mine used to swipe the candarel sachets from starbucks to fill up her stash at home with. I couldnt see how spending an hour opening all the tinly little paper packets was worth it to save 99p!
