I'm new to tuning the Lancer so maybe you can help. So far I have added a cat back Magnex system, HKS Racing Suction Kit and girly clear side repeaters to my 6. Today I installed a boost gauge and I am getting and holding 1.1 bar....Is this over standard?

I am thinking that the next logical step would be to de-cat the exhaust, will this raise boost any higher than 1.1 bar and would I get a noticable power increase by doing so?

When I got this damn car, I swore I would never mess with it.

Yes its worth it.. It makes you exhaust system work more freely.. Your Magnex will sound alot louder and you will get a slight power gain in doing this..

Your peaking at 1.1 bar is about right for a more or less standard Evo.. It souldnt go up any more with the de-cat pipe!
