the decat on my 4 has a sensor in it,i also have a 5 which i want to decat,i have a decat pipe wth no sensor hole can i just disconnect the sensor,and does the sensor have any effect on running whatsoever or does it just show if the cat overheats anybody please?

cat over heat only,just push the sensor back up through the grommit the wires come down threough and seal it up.

so leave the sensor attached to wires,and tape up,or can i disconnect and take bulb out of dash....thanks for your reply

leave it attached or disconnect it and join the wires,that will put out the light
