I have a set on my VI.
Seem very good.

Avoid Ferodo ds2500 pads if you don't want squeal tho

Can only compare them to OE discs, and the DBA's appear waaaaay better.

I've been and done a bit of research for you Wullie ;)

They do the 4000 series for the IV, the 294mm discs and the 276 for the RS's with 15" wheels. The 4000 are heat treated etc and as far as you can go with a 1 piece disc.

The 5000's aren't listed for IV's, but I believe they will make them if asked. No extra cost as far as I am aware.

It seems that these brakes are living up to their claims - very even heat disipation and thermal transfer across the disc because of the ventilation design, so extremely warp resistant.

****, that sounded like a sales pitch  ;) :D

Sorry, been busy.

They can do the IV discs in 5000 series. Are going to email me with prices and an ETA. Will post back on here when I know.

5000 series 2 piece slotted (grooved) discs for V and VI (320mm) are £243 rrp each disc + vat. Not cheap, but when you replace them you only need the rotors and they are £135 each.
I was told they generally wear less quickly because they run 10-20% cooler too.

They seem to be the best discs on the market in standard size.
There is a letter of commendation from Ralliart Australia available.
Apparently the only one to rival them for cooling are the curved vane AP's.

Sorry, comment about ferodo pads wasn't directed specifically at the pads - rather the combination of disc and pad I have. They work really well, just seem to squeal at certain temps.

Other recommended pads are Pagid, Mintex, and I think Performance Friction. Compounds will depend on what you use the car for :)

ohh that would be good if they do make them. keep me posted please russs :D

i also have ds 2500's with no squeal im running pagid discs. cam 6 has them with mintex discs and they squeal terribly.

it really is down to the combo. some do some dont.

there was an old post on here a guy had done a test with several different combos to find what was quiet.

Hi all,
any news/experiences on these discs? How do they perform against the known warping problem?
I ahve a VI and I am thinking to get either these or the PF combo but not sure what would be best.

regards,
Greg
