i would say the dump valve, put the old re-circ valve back on and see how she runs

Could it be the fact that the new one is metal and the old one is plastic. would that make a difference?

if it is the dump valve causing the stalling then the remap wont help im afraid. i had me car mapped with my hks ssqv fitted and it still stalled. only way of fixing it was put the standard
re-circulating valve back on or get a hks idle stabiliser kit fitted.

Cheers for replies people. So if i get it re mapped can it be done on the standard ecu or will i need to change that over 2?

Bloody cars are a pain in the backside but would not change it for love nor money cause they are so much fun!!!

depends what you want?

ecutek can be done to your standard ecu (evo 5 onwards)
or thers autronics, motec, power fc, etc etc etc
Hi revs

Hi mate i put my standard bov bk on but still had this stalling problem ,So i took it to matt at the racingline and had it mapped and it was 100% better ,not stalled or jerked in anyway ,And it did stall nearly every day .Yes you can have a ecuteck on you standard ecu ,Your cars probably stalling due to your decat pipe and exhaust system ,causing more air flow i believe ,let me know how you get on ,regards chris ..

agree with the above, if you car is still stalling with the standard re-circ valve, then a remap will be in oredr. best of luck with whatever you choose!

Thanks to everyone for your help. Think i am going to contact ecutek and see about getting a re map. Think it will be best in the long run.
