As soon as I've registered my car the AYC must go and I want to know what has to be done. Is it enough to just change the part in the diff and can all the AYC shít be ripped out? Or does that Cusco part still use the same oil and tank?? And how about the front and middle diffs??

Hi Michael K,

I don't know exactely if the cusco replacement lsd for ayc replaces all that things or if it just became a real lsd.
For the front and center, you can just buy the curco lsd and replace it.

You can probably get some informations by email from takakaira.
Also hks kansai in Japan supply special lsd, I don't know if these are cusco ones.

You will anyway be able to choose between a 1way, 1,5way or 2way lsd, between soft or hard type setting and cusco has also two differnt kind of lsd the mz and the cz.

I know someone who has the Cusco rear diff conversion in place of the AYC item on their E6. I think almost everything of the AYC is kept it is just fitted in place of the AYC clutch packs, I am not sure but I will ask. I know the external AYC hydraulric components remain its just the diff that is altered.
