Kevin,

Didn't get chance to thank you again before you left the circuit with Dave and Stu. It was good to see the EVO's were made very welcome with the Scooby and Exige owners also taking me out for fast laps around the circuit http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/happy1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > .

How you found grip to brake that hard on what was still a damp line is still puzzling me - you must play around with black magic or something [img]http://www.ltregister.f9.co.uk/graphics/biggrin1.gif border|EQU| 0 align|EQU| absmiddle > .

Thanks again,

Mark

Sorry my manners are terrible, I have already had a blast off Mossman for leaving without saying goodbye!

After I drove Daves black evo with Yoko Avs's on I can only put it down to the SO-3's. The Yokos found zero grip, but the SO-3's inspired great confidence and were very progressive, letting you know they were about to break traction without actually doing so.

And the late braking is all down to the 'New Mintex' pads, sooo reliable you just keep going later and later. (or as one passenger put it 'I am finding it quite un-nerving'!)

Onward to Oulton next week!

Kevin,

I found it quite un nerving , and that was at Cadwell in the dry. God only knows how it must feel as a passenger in the wet.

OK when is the next track outing after the 6th July? (I'm on hols for 2 weeks, so can't make Oulton). I WILL do some track days this summer, just got to convince Keeley to let me have her car for the day.........

I thought the 'White Knuckle Ride' at Cadwell in your car was one of the highlights of the day and as for the grip of your SO-3's in the wet at Croft superb, I need to retire my YVS's which are good in the dry (Torvill and amp; Dean would have been proud of me in the wet).
