·Mark5 and myself have been discussing buying a cheap car for trackday use. I, for one, don't want to wreck my beloved on the track, but want to get into this trackday nonsense.
We thought an EX2000 or even a Starion would fit the bill.
Is anyone else interested in a consortium? I live near Oxford and Mark is in the Midlands (forgive me Mark, I don't know exactly where). I don't think it would be too much of a problem if we had 4 or 5 owners; this would obviously keep costs down to very manageable levels, and I wouldn't be able to do many days anyway (I've got a house to finish building).
Obviously costs and storage would need to be sorted, but this thread is just to gauge interest. I know that Mark and myself don't want to spend more than about £1k each on the motor, plus running costs.
Could be a cheap giggle, and imagine owning more than one Evo (even if it is a zero)!!!
Who's interested?
