Something of great interest to y'all this weekend.

If you want a clue have a look at this weeks Zoo magazine.

I got the heads up from Mark Stacey about the Zoo feature.

Unfortunately it was.
In retrospect I have another 2.6 here that would have been better suited to the task and I wouldn't have felt so bad at seeing it bashed about.
The Top Gear car had mint original rear arches.
However a session of 'restoration' will see the car returned to its former glory in full Clitheroe Carpets colours!

So didnt JC paint the car with his leftover money as he said then? I saw it had 'Clitheroe Carpets' on the side of it at the end of the feature!

It looked quite good painted up :D

Nice to see it had the moral victory as well, the car wins as long as JC admits he cocked it up :D

He had the paint job done on the cheap for £250, but its a very good job for the money.
Clitheroe carpets is a made up name.
I had the car at our local Whit monday procession and it was seen by 2/3000 people and got it lots of applause and cheers.
I was amazed at the number of young kids who thought it was really cool.

I enjoyed seeing the Starion , I remember our local Misti garage had a white F reg wide body demo which I loved at the time , though being 17 there was no way I'd ever get a test drive of it! :p
