HI ALL HOPE SOMEONE CAN ADVISE ME. JUST BOUGHT A 7 LAST WEEK EVERY TIME I CHANGE GEAR MOSTLY DOWN I GET A SLIGHT JUDDER AND A SQUEAL WHEN I LIFT MY FOOT OF THE CLUTCH,WENT BACK TO THE GARAGE, SAID I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE THE THRUST BEARING. THEY WENT FOR A TEST RUN AND SPOKE TO THE TECHNICIAN, AND BOTH AGREED,THAT THE CULPRIT WAS A CERAMIC CLUTCH MAKING THE NOISE AS IT ENGAGED THE FLYWHEEL. ANY THOUGHTS

OOooooh. take it back to them and tell them to either investigate it or take the car back off you.

i got the same p!sh from them about my car having a twin plate clutch. they have the only staff in the world that can tell what kind of clutch you have installed but cant set up tracking gauges.

i could go on all week about their incompetances but i wont (unless u ask nicely :D ). make them investigate it.

i had a duff release bearing that you could hear clearly every time you took ur foot off the clutch, but they were sure that it was a twin plate clutch.
