It came on the first time..disconnected battery gone..

Second and third time the same..

Measured in KMs - 70km intervals..

I know this problem exists with American cars if you remove the cats, the check engine light comes on after 50kms (or miles, whatever).

Any ideas what can be causing this? car runs fine on 103 octane fuel.

well , i put on my decat 10K miles ago and nothing happened .

emm ... check the oxygen sensor in the exhaust the one after the deact , if you ve changed exhausts , you will have to weld a bung for it ( LHD VII only have this extra sensor ) it could be touching the car's body , this happened to me and caused a blown fuse and a CEL .

i hope this helps you

I've had the exhaust for a long time with no problems, but this started after I changed the ECU to RA and installed the boost controller.. If it was related to the o2 sensor then it would have happened ages ago..

Could it be related to the ECU? I need to get a diagnostic tool and check it out..
