I was just checking up on the history of a LHD X reg Tommy Mac 6rs rally car I was lookin at, and was wondering if there was a chassis code to differentiate the newer version?.

Have bought the car now, have the chassis number, but dont have the plaque on the dashboard.
do any dealers still have a list of which special signed numbers related to a specific chassis number?
I think its a gsr car with the ayc removed and an rs diiff and roll cage fitted.
it has electric windows on a rally car. nice
were the front wishbones different on a mak to a 6 ?

Maks had the tarmac setup i.e alluminium arms as opossed to steel
