Daz, if you read my post above, they can be modified by putting different batteries/motors in them. A 12v one can be changed to a 24v one & give it twice the speed. Likewise a 6v one - 24v, very quick indeed!!either the vid is speeded up or its petrol that as i bought my lad a car for his 2nd birthday and it certainley didnt go like that when on full throttle:smthumbup:smthumbup toys r us are doing the police charger ones and lightining mcqueen ones at moment:smthumbup

:crackup::crackup: well with the info i'll be digging his car out of shed and see what i can do....in middle of trying to build him a tot rod with a 125cc engine in it so another project that may be easier would be good:smthumbup:smthumbupor dazxxx, you could read my post above and see that by changing batteries/motors etc makes them faster, LOL

class :smthumbup - modding at 3! :crackup:I bought my son a 6v battery powered ferrari car and it was really slow, even my son, when he was 3, was asking for more speed (good lad) so I looked up stuff and the easiest way of getting more speed was to put a 12v battery in it.
I went out, bought a 12v battery and away we went, twice the speed, not enough power to drift, but you then uprate the motor and battery to 24v and it'll be plenty fast enough.
There are loads of forums and people online who will help you sort one out. Quite easy really.
