wow they look great, let me know if you find where to get them, would love one for my little lad
Called 'powerwheels'

Editted to add: possibly modified :crackup: Seriously!!!
Why did i never have one of these as a kid!!!!
There are some really cool videos of them on youtube, just search powerwheels Lighting McQueen
Speedrider helmet cam

I would have loved one of these :coolsm:

If it's that particular car you want, it's called the 'Amav 9601 Speedrider' & is out of production(http://www.buy.com/prod/amav-9601-speedrider-r-c-power-rider-ride-on-car/q/loc/208135652.html)
How long before you start adding carbon bits and coilovers? lol
toys r us used to sell them, dont know if they still do though, be worth a check :smthumbup
I bought my son a 6v battery powered ferrari car and it was really slow, even my son, when he was 3, was asking for more speed (good lad) so I looked up stuff and the easiest way of getting more speed was to put a 12v battery in it.

I went out, bought a 12v battery and away we went, twice the speed, not enough power to drift, but you then uprate the motor and battery to 24v and it'll be plenty fast enough.

There are loads of forums and people online who will help you sort one out. Quite easy really.

Daz, if you read my post above, they can be modified by putting different batteries/motors in them. A 12v one can be changed to a 24v one & give it twice the speed. Likewise a 6v one - 24v, very quick indeed!!

or dazxxx, you could read my post above and see that by changing batteries/motors etc makes them faster, LOL

xs just nicking my post!

But it's not speeded up or petrol.
I think this guy is obssessed though!

:crackup::crackup: well with the info i'll be digging his car out of shed and see what i can do....in middle of trying to build him a tot rod with a 125cc engine in it so another project that may be easier would be good:smthumbup:smthumbup

No, beat you to it, post #3 I said 'possibly modified' and the link ;):mhihi:
I just hadn't said how it was modified :la::crackup:
the wheels wear out quickly tho, and the only downside I found, is that I can hardly fit in it myself!! I'll be selling our little ferrari one soon as my lad has outgrown it, but plan on getting a 4x4 jeep type and upping the power to 24-48v if I can find the motor to do it.

xs, does that actually count tho? LOL
We had one for Imogen , If you take the resitors out they go a lot faster .. upgraded to a CBR600 battery and away she went .. Till the gear box exploded ...LOl
Imogens first sprint ..
