I know I am not the only one here who weeps gently everytime some twerp puts up a "do you like my stickers/big F off bumper" thread on the forum, can't they be have there Evo's confiscated by the relevant authorities ?

Its the 'do you like me bangin ICE install', 'I got me 350 bhp from uprating the conrod bolts but the 200 kgs of subwoofer is kinda slowin me down man' threads that I like the best.

If you havn't already guessed - yes i am you know ...... a dirty Purist through and through - oh yes - oh yes!!! - but i do also enjoy the odd sticker, big wheel, strange door kinda thing - lots of milage for **** take!!!! - never harmful you understand!

I have been frequenting the 205gtidrivers site of recent as i now have the money to finish my 205 (sold my Golf to a man in London who traveled all the way to Aberdeen!!!!) and they are a very knowledgeable bunch - a lot are also 'purists' :coolsm:

We already have several purists sections: Technical (well, some of it....), trackdays, sprints etc Can't see much call for a purists chit-chat section myself?

PS: Ollie, I also drop in on the 205GTI drivers forum from time to time - used to have a 205 for a bit of track fun. you might recognise the avatar... Very good site and a great way of dealing with chavs, **** stirrers and idiots, i.e. just ban the feckers
